DC FoodFinder is an online, interactive map connecting D.C. residents to healthy food in their community, the DC Food Finder is an easy-to-use tool that locates sources of food in the city's communities from any computer terminal in the city. Created by the Healthy Affordable Food for All Coalition and developed with the generous help of Social Compact, the DC Food Finder is the first interactive map of food programs and resources in Washington, DC.
This school year will be an especially exciting one, with the coming implementation of the Healthy Schools Act, which will substantially improve health, wellness, and nutrition of students in D.C. Public Schools and public charter schools.
