Now more than ever, D.C. children need access to healthy school meals for the nutrition they need to learn and thrive. Even though children are not in the classroom, their nutritional needs remain, and D.C. schools are stepping up to ensure every child has access to a healthy breakfast and lunch.
Any child 18 or under can pick up breakfast and lunch at a D.C. Public School (DCPS) meal site. Find a site near you!
Children DO NOT need to be DCPS students in order to receive meals. No ID or prior sign-up is required. Meals will be provided to-go in order to encourage social distancing. Parents or guardians can pick up meals on behalf of their child. Up to three days worth of meals can be picked up per day per child. More information can be found here.
Help us spread the word! Use our Fall for School Meals Toolkit to share important information about the availability of free meals for D.C. kids 18 and under.
