Free School Meals for School Year 2021-2022

During SY21-22, all students attending D.C. Public Schools and D.C. Public Charter Schools are eligible for access to free school meals (breakfast and lunch) through the USDA Seamless Summer Option. 

D.C. Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services will offer meals to students learning in-person or virtually at no cost. Free meals will also be available at a limited number of open meal sites. Supper/snack will also be available at a limited number of afterschool program locations. D.C. Public Schools encourage families with children not attending a CEP school to complete a Free and Reduced Meal Application to ensure eligibility for other programs. 

D.C Public Charter School families with children should contact their respective LEA to determine participation in free school meals for SY21-22.
